I don’t get a lot of time during the week to geek just for the sake of geeking. Between my company, WATSYS, and the B&B my wife and I run, things are pretty busy around here most of the time. Even the weekends are typically busy because we tend to be booked solid even now in the fall. However, between guests, I usually get an hour or so to just geek out.
Things are tight today because we had a full house last night and we have another full house tonight, but once the rooms are switched over, I will be taking a look at a few things today. On my plate are:
- Linux Planet: this is an aggregate of Linux oriented blogs and podcasts put up by Linc from TLLTS
- Cygwin: Many of my clients use Cygwin, but I have never actually installed or played with it other than connecting to it via SSH as I would a normal Linux box
- Fastmail’s DAV service. Fastmail offers disk space along with their email and I’m looking to configure my system to attach to it via DAV or DAVs.
We’ll see how much of this stuff I actually get through, but that’s the plan!
