Summary: Mobile browsers have typically been developed by the handset developers themselves and therefore usually completely suck. Opera has made some headway in the mobile browsing area and now Fennec – Firefox for mobile devices.

Fennec is in Alpha so it’s not ready for us yet, but since it is developed for the Maemo OS, us Nokia users will be able to make use of it when it is ready.

Here is a video with Madhava Enros from the Fennec project walking through the basic flow. It’s looking promising as long as they can speed it up for release.
