FYI, don’t forget about FreeSWITCH (www.freeswitch.com) as a platform. Many have migrated their systems to FreeSWITCH because of Asterisk’s shortcomings and relative instability. (see http://www.freeswitch.com/node/117) In any case, it’s good to know that OSS telephony is very healthy and only getting stronger.
